| Sinopsis: | Edad Recomendada por FICI: +13 Tras la muerte de su madre, Jaya tiene que ir a vivir con su padre, Johar, que trabaja como supervisor en un jermal (una plataforma pesquera en el mar). Johar queda impactado con la llegada del chico, al que no conoce desde que le abandonó siendo bebe y no le reconoce como a su hijo. Tras encarar el rechazo de su padre y los abusos de los otros chicos, Jaya decide aprender y adoptar las actitudes y habilidades necesarias para sobrevivir en el jermal. Poco a poco, Jaya comienza a ser como los otros chicos y Johar empieza a asumir su pasado. Al final, los dos, extraños en un principio, acaban asumiendo que son Padre e Hijo. After his mother’s death, Jaya is sent to his father, Johar, who works as a supervisor on a jermal (a fishing platform in the middle of the sea). Johar is shocked and rejects the boy as his kin. Faced with constant rejection from his father and relentless bullying by the other boys who work on the jermal, Jaya decides to learn the skills and attitude needed to survive on the jermal. Jaya increasingly becomes like the other boys: a tough, rough survivor; while Johar is forced to gradually face and accept his past. In the beginning, they meet as strangers; in the end, they leave as father and son. |
